In addition to going to night markets when traveling to Taiwan, breakfast shops are also one of the must-go places.
Tourists particularly like #阜杭豆浆 located in Huashan Market. It has a traditional Taiwanese flavor and is recommended by the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand.
✨Personally, I think the must-order dish is the salty soy milk (TWD 40)
The salty soy milk is very different from the one I had in Hong Kong.
The tofu pudding is really smooth and not watery like egg drop. With the addition of chopped green onions and crispy fried dough sticks, it tastes neither sour nor greasy!
✨ Another thing I would recommend is the Salty Rice Ball (TWD 55)
It is the rice ball that we can eat in Hong Kong. It's soft and sticky, not sticky and not dry.
There is also a store on the second floor of Huashan Market where you can buy souvenirs - Fu Kee Bakery.
✨The heart is so soft and special, with pineapple and coconut fillings,
It has a sweet fragrance of flowers and fruits when eaten, and is very layered.
✨The President's Triple Q Biscuits are both good, the taro flavor is very fragrant, and the mochi is chewy.
