During my Taipei trip, I wandered into Heart Village, tucked away quietly in Beitou, and it felt like walking into a living memory. The entrance arch was simple but meaningful, leading into a narrow lane filled with murals and preserved old homes. Every corner seemed to carry stories from generations past.
The highlight for me was stepping inside one of the recreated military family homes. It was small but cozy, with nostalgic toys, books, and furnishings from decades ago. It made me reflect on how simple life used to be. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy quiet spots with deep cultural roots.
