The National Palace Museum in Taipei is currently exhibiting a religious sculpture special exhibition [Compassion and Wisdom] that seems to take people back through thousands of years. The exhibition focuses on the two spiritual connotations of "compassion" and "wisdom" in Buddhist art. Through a selection of Bodhisattva statues, instruments and sculptures from the fusion of Han and Tibetan, it leads viewers to quietly contemplate the power of faith.
Among them, a Tang Dynasty Guanyin statue is gentle and dignified, with a gentle and loving face, which contrasts with the rational and solemn Manjusri Bodhisattva next to it, as if showing the perfect balance between sensibility and rationality in faith. Suitable for travelers who love religious art, history and philosophy to come and experience.
