The Beitou Museum, located on Youya Road in Beitou District, Taipei City, is a century-old Japanese-style wooden building. Formerly the Jiashan Ryokan, a high-end hot spring inn built in 1921, it once served as a Japanese officers' club, witnessing the glory days of Beitou's hot spring culture. This municipally designated historic site blends Japanese and Western architectural styles, boasting exquisite Japanese gardens, tatami rooms, and an elegant grand banquet hall, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of Japanese architecture.

The museum houses nearly 5,000 Taiwanese folk and Aboriginal artifacts and offers cultural experiences such as tea ceremony and Japanese confectionery making. Visitors can also enjoy exquisite kaiseki cuisine or Japanese afternoon tea at the Yiranju restaurant, a feast of history and cuisine. For architecture enthusiasts and history buffs, the Beitou Museum is a must-see attraction in Beitou!
