#September2025
The National Palace Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York are collaborating to present "From Impressionism to Modernism: Masterpieces from the Metropolitan Museum of Art," a grand exhibition held in the Second Exhibition Hall of the National Palace Museum's northern campus.

This exhibition marks the first time the Metropolitan Museum has presented works from its collection, donated by Robert Lehman. The exhibition features 81 masterpieces by 38 artists, including Renoir, Cézanne, Gauguin, Van Gogh, and Seurat.

The works range from Impressionism and Post-Impressionism to Early Modernism, spanning the mid-19th to mid-20th centuries. Through five major themes, visitors can explore the landscape of French painting and drawing, and take in the development of Western art over the past century.
