Ritsurin Park, located in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, is one of the most scenic gardens in the Shikoku region and is designated as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty in Japan. With Ziyun Mountain as its backdrop, the park is cleverly configured with pools, rockery and landscape stones, and has the reputation of "a new scene at every step". There are thousands of pine trees planted throughout the park, which maintain their elegant posture after years of pruning. Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons in Ritsurin Park. Red leaves are everywhere in the park, forming a fiery red scene, especially around South Lake, where maple leaves are reflected on the lake surface, creating a picturesque scenery. The Ritsurin Park at night has a special flavor. The night maple light show illuminates the red leaves, creating a dreamy atmosphere and attracting many tourists to come and watch.
