A handmade udon restaurant located inside Takamatsu Station.

The noodles are made by kneading wheat flour and salt water, then drying them with heated air. The noodles are semi-dried, retaining more moisture than dried noodles, so they are soft when you put them in your mouth and chewy when you chew them.

Around the station, Takamatsu Port and Tamamo Park are also recommended.

Takamatsu Port operates ferries and high-speed boats to seven islands, including Shodoshima, Naoshima, Teshima, Ogijima, and Megijima. As the site of the Setouchi Triennale, it is also interesting to view the art works. Liminal Air -core-, designed by Shinji Ohmaki, is the symbol of Takamatsu Port. Two pillars tower over the port. Some of the colorful pillars are mirrored, reflecting the surrounding scenery. The changing scenery of the port creates various expressions of the work.
