I am not a small island. Yashima

Yashima, people sound like a small island that is only accessible by ferry. But it is not, it is a place that tourists can go to by car in Shikoku. On Yashima Island, you can see the endless view of the vast ocean. If you go there in early December, you can enjoy the beautiful red leaves! You can even sit at the Reigan Teahouse on Yashima Island until dusk, and the beautiful scenery under the setting sun is another kind of fun and flavor. On Yashima Island, you can find a new landmark called Yashimāru. Visitors can enter the corridor of Yashimāru, and the other side of the corridor is transparent, so you can see the trees and scenery outside. It is really incredible to be indoors but surrounded by the feeling of being outdoors.

If you have the opportunity to go to Shikoku, you might as well go to Yashima. I hope you like my sharing, thank you!

Transportation: Takamatsu JR-Yashima (280 yen), about 9 minutes & 17 minutes.
There is a shuttle bus up the mountain from Yashima. Or take the Kotohira Railway to Yashima.
D1-4: 9:00-17:00 D5/6: 9:00-21:00 the day before holidays
