Ritsurin Garden, located in Kagawa Prefecture, is designated as a Special Scenic Spot of Japan and has been awarded three stars in the Michelin Green Guide Japan. This strolling-style daimyo garden dates back to the early Edo period.
Set against the backdrop of Mount Shiun, the garden features six ponds and thirteen artificial hills, divided into a traditional Japanese-style southern garden and an open, Western-style northern garden from the Meiji era. Highlights include the unique tea house Kikugetsutei, which offers views from all sides, and the stunning scenery from Engetsu Bridge over the South Lake. Visitors can also enjoy a boat ride on traditional Japanese wooden boats, just as the feudal lords of the past once did 🚣♂️❣️
The tranquil atmosphere allows for a peaceful and relaxing experience 🌳
Highly recommended for sightseeing✨
