Healing Tourist Spot: Hie Shrine in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture

Hie Shrine, located in the northern part of Gifu Prefecture in Hida Takayama, is famous as a filming location for the movie "Your Name."

It takes about 15 minutes by bus from JR Takayama Station to reach the shrine. Surrounded by lush greenery, the area offers a refreshing breeze even in summer, making it a perfect spot to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The entrance is accessible by car.

While there are some stairs, there is also a sloped path available, allowing visitors who cannot climb stairs to reach the main hall.
