The 3000-year-old Okusu tree at Takeo Shrine is a must-see when you visit Takeo City⛩️
In front of the stairs leading up to the shrine grounds, there is a pair of cypress trees, which are enshrined as matchmakers.
The beautifully maintained washroom in the shrine grounds has cute floating Imari ware balls!
The fortune slips here are in the shape of an umbrella, and the colorful umbrellas are beautiful.
The Okusu tree is located a little way from the shrine grounds, past the bamboo forest.

You can't get close to it, but you can feel the blessings from its power.
I was able to spend a peaceful time listening to the quiet sound of the wind and the rustling of the leaves😊
