Day 1:
On my first day in Tokyo, I chose the famous Meguro River as the starting point of my itinerary. The scenery along the Meguro River is picturesque, especially during the cherry blossom season in spring, making it a pilgrimage site for many tourists. As I walked to the riverside, I was greeted by the sight of clear river water and blooming cherry blossoms on both banks. The gentle breeze scattered petals like rain, instantly lifting my spirits. I strolled along the riverside path, admiring the beautiful scenery, and the surrounding cafes and small shops added a touch of warmth. Later, I stopped at a riverside café to enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee, leisurely watching the passersby and tourists, feeling the pulse of the city. For lunch, I chose a Japanese restaurant and savored the local specialty, unagi-don (grilled eel rice), which was unforgettable.
Day 2:
On the second day, I decided to further explore the area around Meguro River. In the morning, I returned to the river, this time to experience a boat ride. Drifting on the water, my view expanded, and the cherry blossom trees and greenery along the banks came into sight, offering a different kind of charm. The guide on the boat provided detailed introductions to the history and attractions along the river, giving me a deeper understanding of its story. After disembarking, I arrived at a large park on the other side of the river, perfect for walking and picnicking. I laid out a picnic blanket on the grass, enjoyed my packed lunch, and relished the moment of peace and comfort.
