Taking a Walk in a Japanese Neighborhood

Famous tourist spots in Japan are great, but how about taking a stroll through a quiet Japanese neighborhood sometimes?
Even in Tokyo, which is known worldwide for its crowds, you can feel peace and quiet when you go to residential areas🫢
Among them, I went to Kita-Akabane Station, which is close to the Arakawa River.
If you get off the station and walk for about 5? 10 minutes? you’ll find stairs that look like they came straight out of the Crayon Shin-chan cartoon (stairs leading down to the river) — so moving (photos 3-4📸).
If you go up those stairs, there’s a golf course beyond where you can enjoy an open, expansive view;)
How about taking a local Tokyo walk yourselves?
