Kawazu Cherry Blossoms @ Yoyogi Park

Early March is the peak blooming season for the early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms. If you’re traveling to Tokyo during this time, we highly recommend visiting Yoyogi Park, the fifth largest metropolitan park in Tokyo, to enjoy the Kawazu cherry blossoms; 🌸🌸😍

There is an area in this park with about ten Kawazu cherry trees. Although the number is small, the vibrant color and dense blossoms of the Kawazu cherry trees attract many visitors who come to admire and take photos of the cherry blossoms. Also, because these Kawazu cherry trees are relatively short, everyone competes to take beautiful photos under the fully bloomed cherry blossoms. 📷🌸💯

Getting to Yoyogi Park is very convenient. Whether you come from JR Harajuku Station or the Yoyogi-Koen Subway Station, it’s only a 5-minute walk to the park. Plus, admission to the park is free, making it a perfect spot for cherry blossom viewing. 👍🏼🌸💯
