[Tokyo Shiba Park Zojoji Temple] The Tokugawa Family's Ancestral Temple / One of Japan's Leading Temples

#EnjoyJapan

I visited Zojoji Temple in Shiba Park, Tokyo☺️

This temple has a history of 600 years since its founding.

It has a deep connection with the Tokugawa shogunate family.

It was established in 1393 by the eighth patriarch of the Jodo sect, Priest Yuyo Shocho.

There is also the Tokugawa shogunate family mausoleum where six shoguns are buried.

It is a large temple and truly magnificent.

You can see Tokyo Tower right behind the temple.

If you’re interested, please be sure to visit☺️
