The Hozomon or Treasure House Gate is the grand red gate at Sensō-ji Temple in Tokyo. Three Giant Lanterns welcome you in their flambouyant red and black colors. Giant straw sandals hang on the back side—super-sized for good luck! Built in 1964, it’s a photo hotspot and the doorway to the main Asakusa Temple, the Sensoji temple and the tall red pagoda. Really a magnificent sight!
