The moment you step into the Nezu Museum, you'll wonder if you're still in Tokyo.
It's just a wall away from the fashionable bustle of Aoyama, yet it feels like entering another world. 😌😌
The museum's architecture, designed by Kengo Kuma, is minimalist and features a wood-themed ambiance. The airy space, with its soft play of light and shadow, seems to slow down time. The exhibition features primarily ancient Eastern artifacts, Buddhist statues, tea utensils, and calligraphy and paintings!

Opening the door to the garden is like entering another universe: winding paths, ancient stone lanterns, and a pond reflecting the sunlight, quietly telling a story of centuries-old scenery. This isn't a replica of Japanese style, but a truly meticulously maintained traditional Japanese garden. No need for excessive embellishment; every tree and stone appears freshly stepped from history, existing naturally and elegantly.💡
And when you tire of walking, why not stop by the garden café, "NEZUCAFÉ." Large windows let in the garden's greenery. A cup of hot coffee paired with a sweet treat makes the entire visit a poetic afternoon escape.🍵🍵
