[Ueno] Ueno Zoo

Ueno Zoo is just a short walk from the station! This is a zoo where you can meet pandas.
This is a zoo in Tokyo that is easily accessible by train.
The zoo is large, but you can see everything in about half a day.
There are many benches, so it's very easy to take a leisurely break and look around even with children.
Of course there are pandas, but there are also elephants and tigers! There are many other animals, including polar bears, so it's worth seeing!
The behavioral exhibits were well done, and you could even see the polar bears and seals from under the pool.
My child was impressed by the sight of the elephants stretching their trunks high to reach the food above their heads.
