Kaminarimon Gate is one of Tokyo's most famous landmarks in Asakusa and a classic tourist attraction in Japan.

• Name: Kaminarimon (meaning "Thunder Gate")
• Location: Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo, the outer gate of Senso-ji Temple
• History: First built in 941 AD, it boasts a long history and has undergone numerous reconstructions. The current structure was rebuilt in 1950.
• Features: The giant red lantern, approximately 4 meters tall and weighing approximately 700 kilograms, is the symbol of Kaminarimon. It bears the Chinese characters "Thunder Gate" (雷門) inscribed on it.

• Kaminarimon Lantern: The large red lantern hanging in the center of the gate is a must-see photo spot.
• Statues of the God of Wind and the God of Thunder: Statues on either side of the gate symbolize the protection of the temple and peace.

• Kaminarimon illuminated at night creates a romantic atmosphere and is also worth a visit.
