It’s not only the oldest museum in Japan but also the largest, housing over 100,000 artifacts that tell the story of Japan’s artistic and cultural evolution — from ancient pottery and samurai armor to exquisite scroll paintings and delicate kimonos.
Each exhibition building has its own theme:
