Omoide Yokocho, also known as Memory Lane, is a small alley filled with small shops and bars with a retro Japanese feel, reminiscent of the Showa era. It's a vibrant and lively place, filled with delicious restaurants offering ramen, sushi, and tempura. Some restaurants charge for tables and chairs, and most accept cash.
Getting there: Take the train to Shinjuku Station and take the West Exit. From there, walk straight for about 5 minutes.
