The scenery around Shibamata Station brings back memories of Tora-san.

"I was born and raised in Katsushika Shibamata, Tokyo." I'm sure many people remember this phrase for some reason.

Such a scene in front of Katsushika Shibamata station.
It was my first time visiting, but
Tora-san was right in the middle of the sidewalk in front of the station.

Permitting a bronze statue in the "middle of the sidewalk"
may be proof that the locals love it☺️

On the approach to Taishakuten, you can see many signs saying "Thank you Tora-san" and "Used in filming Tora-san's XX".

A stroll around Shibamata Station allows you to experience the wonderful atmosphere of the downtown area.

Access is from Shibamata Station on the Keisei Kanamachi Line.
You can enjoy the Tora-san atmosphere from the station.
