This is the "Tottori Sand Dunes" in Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture

A famous tourist spot that you should visit at least once in your life💡

The Tottori Sand Dunes are about 820 times the size of the Tokyo Dome!

It faces the Sea of Japan, so you can see the ocean💎

About 10 minutes by car from Tottori Airport,

About 20 minutes by car from Tottori IC🚙

About 20 minutes by bus from Tottori Station,

About 25 minutes on the "Loop Kirinshishi Bus" on weekends and holidays

(Note that it only operates on weekends and holidays!)

When you walk around the sand dunes, sand will get into your shoes👟

If you go in sneakers, be prepared for a lot of sand to get in. lol

I went there in spring, so it was just right to walk barefoot🌸

(There's a foot washing area so it's safe🫶🏻)

In summer, the sand can get up to 60℃, and the dunes are uncovered so you'll be in the hot sun, so be careful⚠️☀️

There are restaurants, souvenir shops, and accommodations near the Tottori Sand Dunes🛏️

There are activities too, and you can even experience riding a camel🐪
