Machu Picchu is seriously the main event everyone’s chasing on their Peru adventures! 🏔️✨
If you wanna snag those insane views, Route 2 is the most iconic way to go. Pro tip: book your entry tickets online with trip.com (trust me, saves you major hassle) or get there bright and early—like 6am early! If you’re cool with lining up, head to the Aguas Calientes Bus Station (Antisuyo 103, Aguas Calientes 08681, Peru).
The shuttle bus to Machu Picchu costs around $12 USD for the trip up and down, and buses are coming through on the regular. But here’s the play: show up about 40 minutes ahead of your planned departure to avoid the long wait. You’ll thank yourself later!
Once you arrive at the entrance to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu (08680, Peru), get ready to be BLOWN AWAY. Entrance hours shift depending on the season:
Jan 1–May 31: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Jun 1–Oct 15: 6:45 AM–3:45 PM
Oct 16–Dec 29: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Dec 30–Dec 31: 6:45 AM–3:45 PM
No cap—the whole experience feels totally surreal. Make sure you pack your camera 🔥 because every corner here is photogenic AF!
Ready for that epic Machu Picchu selfie? This adventure hits differently—pure bucket-list vibes!#travel #wonderoftheworld #peru #machupicchu
