Vientiane Victory Gate

Patuxai (Patouchai)
An important landmark of Vientiane. It is a monument built to honor the heroes who fought to declare independence from France. Decorated in Lan Xang art, decorated with patterns of mythical animals according to Buddhist beliefs, such as Kinnari and Naga, etc., along with gods in Brahmanism-Hinduism. The surrounding area has a beautiful garden with a fountain show with music. It is another public area for the public to use. In the evening, there are often people here to relax and tourists come to take pictures and check in as if it were the same Patuxai as France.
On top is a museum with a total of 8 floors, where you can see a panoramic view of Vientiane.
