Tomogashima: A Hidden Gem in Japan

Tomogashima is a group of uninhabited islands located right between Wakayama City's Kada and Awaji Island.

The islands are dotted with ruins that are often described as being "straight out of an anime world," making them a favorite among ruin enthusiasts and anime fans alike.

It takes about 20 minutes to reach the islands by ferry from Kada Port. On busy days, there can be up to six ferry trips per day. Additionally, Kada is a highly accessible tourist destination, located about 90 minutes by train from central Osaka.

Since the ferry ride from Kada to Tomogashima takes only about 20 minutes, you can reach Tomogashima from Osaka in roughly two hours.

The islands are also famous as a filming location for the popular anime 'Summer Time Rendering'!

Be sure to check it out! ^ ^
