[Wakayama] Take a weekend trip to Tomogashima. Let's go to Laputa Island!

We will introduce you to a remote island in Kada City, Wakayama Prefecture.

First of all, you can enjoy hot springs and gourmet food in Kada City, so we recommend a plan to enjoy a day trip or an overnight stay, and then go to Tomogashima on the second day.

Nearest station: Nankai Line Kada

Ferry to use: Tomogashima Kisen

Fee: 2,200 yen round trip (half price for children)

I don't think the boat is strong enough to make you seasick, but if you're worried, don't forget to bring medicine for seasickness. There are also vending machines and a small cafe on the island, but there is also a shop just before boarding the boat, so you can rest assured.

The wild squirrels are apparently being fed by the caretaker, so you can see them up close.

The roads are well maintained, so it's a recommended spot for families with children.

Kada City is in Wakayama City, even in Wakayama Prefecture, so it's easy to access from Osaka.
