Haven't had ramen in a long time🍜 Decided to look for some famous ramen shops!
Saw many people recommending 【Kokuryu】 ramen in Wan Chai🎌
Open for over 10 years, it’s an authentic ramen shop run by Japanese owners🇯🇵
I was already craving it when I heard about it, wanted to see how authentic it really is😝
My husband and I arrived around 6 PM~
Unexpectedly, it was almost full😳
Luckily, there was still a table available for us to sit immediately!
The space inside is not big, but the decor and atmosphere definitely have a Japanese feel🤍
❥ Beef Tendon BLACK Ramen $100
The beef tendon is cooked until tender and smooth, with an amazing texture, paired with char siu, egg, and wood ear mushrooms, creating rich layers of flavor!
The broth isn’t too salty and has a strong fragrant aroma🍜
The freshness of the green onions and onions makes the whole bowl of ramen even more appetizing, and the noodles are chewy, leaving a lasting impression🫶🏻
❥ Kokuryu Tonkotsu Ramen $90
The tonkotsu broth is rich and flavorful🤎
The char siu is tender, bamboo shoots are crunchy, combined with seaweed, green onions, and onions🧅, the ingredients are quite abundant!
The noodles are chewy, absorbing the broth, making it warm and appetizing to eat🤤
❥ Chicken Skin Dumplings $30
Very unique❤️ so we decided to try it😋
The dumpling skin is made from chicken skin, golden and crispy on the outside, with a smooth and fragrant filling, tastes amazing!
Paired with lemon juice, it’s even fresher and more flavorful, every bite is full of surprises🤩
❥ Fried Chicken $30
Two big pieces of fried chicken, freshly fried and piping hot🫶🏻
The skin is crispy, and the meat inside is tender and juicy, every bite is meaty🍗 even better with salad dressing🤤
Definitely worth ordering!!
❥ Zero $15
