[Wan Chai] Waterfront Station: A Popular Spot for Retired "Fly Head" Trains

This Dragon Boat Festival, why not visit the retired East Rail Line trains at the Wan Chai waterfront?

The water sports and recreation-themed area in Wan Chai offers a beautiful environment where you can enjoy the sea breeze during the festival, making it incredibly relaxing.

A special "Waterfront Station" has been newly built here specifically for the retired East Rail Line trains. These two refurbished train cars, commonly known as "Fly Head," are filled with memories of Hong Kong people. Each train has traveled over 6 million kilometers, which is equivalent to circling the Earth about 150 times, evoking a deep appreciation for the history of the MTR.

Inside the train, the carriage decoration retains its original style. The exhibition area also features station signs that showcase the history and background of the trains.
