White Swan Hotel

I visited Guangzhou with my parents this time and chose the historic White Swan Hotel. It did not disappoint. The hotel is located on Shamian Island, offering a tranquil environment. Stepping out of the hotel, you are greeted by the scenic Pearl River, making evening strolls very pleasant. The room design is classic but well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The view from the window is layered, especially with the sight of boats passing by on the river, which adds a lot of charm. The service attitude is also commendable, with smiling and efficient staff from the doorman to the front desk. The breakfast is quite rich, offering both Western buffet and traditional Guangzhou dim sum like shrimp dumplings, rice noodle rolls, and water chestnut cake, all very authentic. My parents enjoyed it very much. The atrium pond next to the lobby features rockeries and waterfall landscapes, along with classical furnishings, making you feel like you are in a southern garden. Overall, this is a five-star hotel that is very suitable for bringing elders or experiencing the history and culture of Guangzhou. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth it.
