Rock Stacks and Coastal Vibes at Mexican Hat Beach

The beach itself is all golden sand, rugged cliffs, and crashing waves, but the real star is that rock formation that looks just like a sombrero, hence the name. It’s pretty quirky and makes for great photos.

The beach isn’t patrolled and the waves can get rough, so it’s more of a walk and chill kind of spot than a swimming beach. There’s no one around most of the time, so it’s perfect if you’re after some quiet and a bit of space to yourself.

Access is via a gravel track off the main road, so take it slow if you're in a regular car. No facilities, so bring water, snacks, and whatever else you need. It’s a quick stop if you’re exploring around Kalbarri, but it’s got that remote, untouched feeling that makes it pretty special.
