March 22 field report! Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Wuhan (with guide)

Wuhan has officially entered the cherry blossom season this week.
Finally, it's time to enjoy spring in the mountains!!
To be honest, compared to the East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden,
I prefer this low-key dreamy sea of cherry blossoms.
This is truly an underrated cherry blossom viewing spot in Wuhan.
And the white cherry blossoms are already in full bloom this week.
It is expected to be even more beautiful around March 29.

✅South Gate
Currently, the white cherry blossoms on both sides of the South Gate are in full bloom. The left side is decorated with wind chimes, and the right side with green ribbons. It will be even more beautiful on windy days.
·
✅Hangquxuan
Here you can take photos of ancient buildings and white cherry blossoms. It's hidden quite deep, so you need to look for it.
·
✅Zhiyin Pavilion
The spring scenery here is super beautiful. It feels very comfortable to sit here and rest for a while. The combination of white and green is truly the color of spring~

🌸Tips for Visiting the Cherry Blossoms in March
1⃣There are really a lot of people on weekends. It would be better to come on a working day morning if possible.
2⃣It takes about an hour and a half to walk around the whole park. It's not very tiring to walk and stop, and there is a cherry blossom market to replenish your energy.
3⃣The light is a bit backlit in the afternoon, and the light will be better in the morning.
4⃣The flowers are already in full bloom this week, and the peak bloom period should be around March 29. You may not be able to see them in April.
5⃣The hydrangeas near Hexu Pavilion are already blooming and are green. You can come to see the hydrangeas next month.
