With half the summer vacation gone, staying cooped up in air-conditioned rooms just won't do. Why not join me in escaping to the mountains to bask in the sun and beat the heat? This time, I discovered a hidden gem—Yuehe Linquan Magnolia, a true summer paradise nestled in the mountains! 🌳
📍 **Location & Environment**: This homestay is almost at the mountain peak, just past the Mulan Mountain archway, truly hidden yet standing out in the lush forest. When the evening mountain breeze blows, the temperature feels incredibly cool—almost like it's -5°C!
🏠 **Room Features**: There aren’t many rooms—only eight in total—with options like poolside rooms and tent rooms. I highly recommend booking a poolside room for better amenities and easy access to swimming! I stayed in the "Mountain View" room, which was so close to nature! A full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows lets you gaze at the mountains as soon as you open the curtains. At night, you can lie in bed and stargaze through the skylight—utterly romantic! The bathtub is huge, big enough for kids to swim in, and the balcony offers a stunning view of Mulan Mountain, perfect for sunset-watching while listening to the wind and cicadas. Pure bliss!
🏊 **Infinity Pool**: Step outside, and you’re at the infinity pool—aesthetic, photogenic, and perfect for floating afternoon tea! Enjoy delicious treats while soaking in the breathtaking scenery. The pool is 1.4m deep, ideal for a refreshing swim. As dusk falls, swimming and sipping tea by the mountain make all your worries disappear!
🍽 **Scenic Restaurant**: Follow the forest trail to a glass house—the scenic restaurant. The terrace is perfect for taking in the views, overlooking the mountains and clouds, making every breath feel healing. Breakfast and meals are plentiful, with authentic ingredients and generous portions—totally satisfying!
🎈 **Nearby Attractions**: Plenty to explore nearby, like the Huyutang Museum, Deli Tower, Mulan Mountain Golden Summit, Dayu Bay, and Flower Sea Paradise—all worth a visit!
👀 **Handy Tips**:
- Pack extra clothes—you might get wet while playing in the water.
- Don’t forget water guns, pool toys, swimsuits, and floats.
- Mosquitoes and bugs are common in the mountains, so bring repellent and sunscreen.
- Snacks are a good idea—stores aren’t easy to find up here.
🦢 **Homestay Name**: Yuehe Linquan · Magnolia

Escape the city heat and enjoy a cool summer retreat here!
