[China/Wuxi/Nanzenji Temple]

#AbsolutelyFreeTrip Nanzenji Temple in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China is an ancient temple located in the southern part of Wuxi City, founded in 547. The current building was rebuilt in 1980, and the temple grounds include the Daxiongbao Hall, the Kannon Hall, the Jizo Hall, and the Myoukousou Tower (43.3m high). It is said that this Myoukousou Tower was built to quell canal flooding. Nanzenji Temple is surrounded by the Nanzenji Pedestrian Street (shopping street), lined with restaurants and souvenir shops. Why not try the famous Wuxi Xiaolongbao? Highly recommended.
