Siguniangshan - changpinggou In June

Four Girls, Changpinggou Trail, a less-than-exercise version 😂 We walked it on June 14, 2025, right in the rainy season. 🌧️ This route is a 22-kilometer round-trip route. The first 7 kilometers are wooden, and the rest is dirt.

At 8:00 AM, we started from the ticket booth. The bus ride was about 15-20 minutes.

At 8:30 AM, there were shops up front selling snacks, water, and O2. We then walked to the Tibetan temple. You can also start riding from there, but we chose to walk.

We didn't inhale O2 at all, but focused on taking frequent breaks along the way and drinking water frequently. If you feel unwell, stop immediately, as the thin air and high altitude pose a risk of AMS.

⛅️ The temperature was around 11 degrees Celsius, but the sun was strong, so it didn't feel cold or chilly. The weather was pleasant and comfortable, but the UV rays were very strong. We recommend applying sunscreen or wearing a face mask.

The last 4 kilometers of the trail are a gradual dirt path, but the last 500 meters are very tiring, as the trail is extremely steep. Walking up a 60-degree hill was so discouraging. Then, it was about to rain. We walked 50 meters and then sat down to rest. When we reached the end of the path, we saw the view and it was so breathtaking. It was so beautiful. It was truly breathtaking.

On the way back, we chose the horse-drawn carriage route. Walking alone was a bit scary, but luckily, there were horses and people walking past us every now and then. We reached the end of the path. On the way back, we were a little tired, climbing the stairs. We had to go down on the way there, and we had to go up on the way back.

🏔️Finally, it was a great experience. If anyone wants to try this route, it's exciting and the views are truly beautiful. The Chinese really did it! #travelchengdu
