Sayram Lake in Xinjiang, Blue Water and Pure Chill

#chinatravel Sayram Lake in Xinjiang is one of those places that makes you want to just stop, breathe and stay a while. The water is this unreal shade of blue that changes with the sky, and the lake is surrounded by rolling grasslands and snow-capped mountains that look like a postcard.

It’s super peaceful out there. Not much noise except for the wind, the birds and maybe the occasional horse trotting by. You can drive around the lake, stop wherever looks good and just take it all in. No need for a plan, the whole vibe is slow and relaxing.

People camp here too, and it’s the perfect spot for stargazing at night. During the day, the reflections on the lake are next level. Honestly, it doesn’t even feel real sometimes.
