Keisei Rose Garden: A Blooming Paradise with 1,600 Varieties and 10,000 Rose Bushes

Keisei Rose Garden is arguably the most famous rose garden in the Kanto region. Located in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture, it’s a bit far from central Tokyo, but definitely worth the trip.

The nearest station is Yachiyo-Midorigaoka Station on the Toyo Rapid Railway, and it’s about a 15-minute walk from there. The path is flat and relatively easy to walk. If you’re driving, it’s recommended to arrive early on weekends to secure parking.

The garden is quite expansive, and as shown in the photos, it boasts a wide variety of roses. With so many colors to choose from, you’re sure to find your favorite shade.

Additionally, rose saplings are available for purchase within the garden, so you can take a piece of this beauty home with you. There’s also a restaurant on-site, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely meal while admiring the roses. Advance tickets are available for purchase, and they’re slightly cheaper than buying on the day, so it’s recommended to get them beforehand.
