The other day, I went to Cafe Hiyori, a traditional Japanese cafe in Yachiyo City, Chiba Prefecture.
I was looking forward to trying the summer-only menu item: the rumored whole peach parfait. 🍦✨

☕️ Relaxing in a traditional Japanese cafe
The cafe is located in a quiet area surrounded by greenery, creating a calming atmosphere that makes you feel like you're visiting grandma's house in the countryside. The interior is also warm and cozy, with a warm wooden décor.

🍑 I was surprised when the parfait was brought to me.
A huge whole white peach sat perched on top of the glass, so cute I couldn't help but take a photo!
When I gently cracked the peach open, I found vanilla ice cream, peach ice cream, jelly, fluffy cream, and even a crispy baked pastry inside. It's not just beautiful to look at, but the flavors and textures change as you eat it, making this a luxurious parfait that you can enjoy.

💰Availability and Price
When I went, it was just over ¥1,500.
The parfait will be available from early July to mid-September. Depending on the peach supply, it may sell out early, so if you're planning on visiting, be sure to get there early!
