Qingzhi Mountain is located northwest of Guantou Town, Lianjiang, on the lower reaches of the Minjiang River, approximately 42 kilometers from Fuzhou. Legend has it that in ancient times, purple-blue Ganoderma lucidum grew on the mountain, hence the name Qingzhi Mountain. Because of its numerous caves, Qingzhi Mountain is also known as Baidong Mountain.

The entire Qingzhi Mountain is composed of 108 scenic spots consisting of strange peaks, unique caves, peculiar rocks, flowing springs, etc. , mainly including five peaks, ten caves, sixteen rocks, thirty-five stones, one lake, three springs, three platforms, three rooms, etc. In addition, Qingzhi Mountain also has Qingzhi Temple, Plum Blossom Tower, Xiaoyulu, Linsen Bone Pagoda and other buildings built on the mountain.
