One of my two favorite gardens in Japan. I did a day trip to Yokohama from Tokyo and almost skipped this place because I had had a full day and to be honest, this garden is kind of out of the way - about an hour bus ride from the main Yokohama attractions.
If you seek a peaceful respite in the middle of a bustling Yokohama, Sankeien will grant you such peace.
I came on a Wednesday afternoon around 3.00pm, and I pretty much had the entire park to myself.
