A good value ryokan with kaiseki breakfast and dinner

We came to Fukuoka for a family trip of 3 generations. The total number of travelers was 6 adults and a 26-month-old and 19-month-old baby. Since there was a lot of movement, we focused on a "comfortable trip" before the trip. In order to minimize movement and eating out, there was no better place than a ryokan that served breakfast and dinner.

My parents really like hot springs, and I wanted to let my kids run around freely in a nature-friendly place, so we visited the hot spring town of Yufuin in Fukuoka. They serve kaiseki meals in the morning and evening, and there are private ryokans!

🌳Sanso Shiki-an is located deep in the mountains in Yufuin! We walked up a winding mountain road for about 20 minutes. There's really nothing around the ryokan, so it's a great place to have some fun!ㅋㅋ

The main building of Sansokian is a 200-year-old wooden building. The Japanese people's ability to preserve their houses is amazing👍🏻

😋The kaiseki served grilled pork and chicken on the first night, but it was a bit tough. The seafood shabu-shabu served on the second night was really great!🤍🖤
