Escape the crowds with kids this National Day! Zhejiang Yuhuan's off-the-beaten-path mountain and sea trip is amazing

Leave the holiday crowds to others and take the kids to Yuhuan’s peaceful mountains and sea for some fun～ Tested this lesser-known route, the kids had a blast, and I enjoyed taking photos!

🌈 Yuhuan family-friendly off-the-beaten-path travel route:
Day 1
Yuhuan City — Yuhuan Lake Scenic Promenade (kids can run and jump while enjoying the lake view) — Xiandie Village (super fun playing in the sand and water on the beach) — Highway No.1 / Niutoujing (wait with the kids for a stunning sunset)
Day 2
Yuhuan City — Zhantai Pier (watch fishing boats with the kids, very fresh experience) — Daludao / Jishan Island (choose one! For younger kids, Jishan Island is easier to walk; for older kids, Daludao is great for exploration)

🚗 Land transportation:
Yuhuan has no high-speed rail. Visitors with kids from other provinces should take the high-speed train to Wenling Station, then rent a car to drive! The peninsula has many mountain roads, public transport is slow and infrequent, so driving with kids is more flexible～

🚢 Island hopping transportation:
- Daludao: One ferry daily from Zhantai Pier! 9:00 AM departure, 2:00 PM return, 30-minute trip. Arrive early with kids to avoid missing it.
- Jishan Island: More frequent ferries from Zhantai Pier, last return at 4:30 PM, 15-minute trip. Easier to catch the ferry with kids.

🏨 Accommodation tips:
Recommended stay: "Yuhuan Haishan Yi Homestay," not far from Zhantai Pier, with sea views nearby. The homestay is cozy and very comfortable for families with kids～

☀️ About the weather:
Be sure to choose a sunny day! After the sea fog clears, the blue sky, white clouds, and ocean make the kids say “so beautiful,” and photos come out amazing～

P9/11 Jishan Island Pier (shoot kids watching fishing boats from the side, so adorable)
P10 Yuhuan Highway No.1 Ring Lake Avenue (stop by the roadside during driving, take parent-child silhouette photos)
P12-13 Zhantai Pier (capture kids interacting with fishing boats, feel the fishing port atmosphere)
P14-15 Xiandie Village (shoot kids running on the beach from behind, full of energy)

🌊 Tips for capturing the blue East China Sea with kids:
1. Shoot with the light! On sunny days with front light, the sea turns bluer and kids’ smiles are clearer.
2. Spring and summer are better～ The southeast monsoon makes the sea clearer, and kids won’t feel cold playing in the water.
3. Remember the 7th and 23rd days of the lunar month! At these times, the sea has less mud and sand, making photos bluer.
