Family-Friendly Snow Playground at Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort

Visiting Echigo-Yuzawa for skiing has become a highly popular winter travel plan in recent years. When choosing a ski resort, our priorities were family-friendliness, convenient transportation, and satisfaction for both adults and children. Ultimately, we decided on Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort as our destination. From Echigo-Yuzawa Station, you can take a shuttle bus directly to the resort, and with Taiwanese staff on-site, communication is absolutely hassle-free!

In addition to ski slopes with varying difficulty levels to meet the needs of adult skiers, the resort also offers amenities like hot springs and daycare services. The main reason we chose this location, however, is the Yuki Asobi Park, a snow playground designed specifically for children. For young kids who just want to play in the snow, this area provides a safe environment away from the crowded bunny hills, reducing the risk of accidents. Here, children can enjoy sledding or sliding down snow hills on inflatable tubes, build snowmen freely, and even use a dedicated magic carpet for the kids' area. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the overall setup is incredibly thoughtful!

Additionally, the resort features a gondola that takes you straight to the mountaintop, where there's a café offering hot drinks and snacks. You can enjoy a warm beverage while taking in the breathtaking snowy landscapes of Yuzawa.
