Colorful Danxia Scenic Spot is located in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, 40 kilometers away from Zhangye City, 25 kilometers away from Linze County, and 45 kilometers away from Sunan. It has a distribution area of ​​50 square kilometers and an average altitude of 1820 meters. It is the only Danxia in China. In 2011, it was approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources as [one of the seven most beautiful Danxias in China], Zhangye Danxia National Park. It is also one of the top ten magical places in the world.
The main visiting spots are Wanxiang Tulin Valley, Colorful Aohe Terrace, Colorful Xiatai, Colorful Jinxiu Terrace, Colorful Fairy Terrace, and Colorful Cloud Sea Terrace. Take the shuttle bus to each station to visit various scenic spots.
There are two entrances in the scenic area, from which one can enter from the east to the west and vice versa. There are shuttle buses that can be used to visit various scenic spots. It takes 5 to 6 hours to visit the panoramic area. Generally, you can take a shuttle bus from the entrance to the Colorful Xiadai viewing area to see various landscapes, which takes about two hours.
