Henan Natural History Museum is the largest natural museum in Henan Province. Its current collection includes more than 50,000 fossil and mineral specimens, 10,000 geological data and 60,000 books and documents. The most important collections include Chinese Beibeisaurus, Giant Ruyang dragon, Luoyang Central Plains dragon fossils, etc.
The main exhibition area of the Henan Museum of Natural History is 4,100 square meters, with 7 exhibition halls including the Earth Hall, Dinosaur Hall, Biological Evolution Hall, Ancient Elephant Hall, Mineral Resources Hall, Ecology Hall, and Mineral Hall, and a 4D cinema; peripheral facilities There are mineral forests, auxiliary mineral halls, geological science plazas and dinosaur sculptures, etc.
The exhibition hall also restores and displays the burial scene of the Xixia Giant Elongated Egg, the largest dinosaur egg in the world. 33 huge dinosaur eggs are densely arranged in a circle, and the ancient biological power seems to be about to break out of the shell.
