Visit Jinshan Temple, a place full of historical, cultural and legendary beauty

Since the Tang Dynasty, Jinshan Temple has been hailed as the most famous scenic spot in Jiangnan. It is listed as one of the four famous temples along with Putuo Temple, Daming Temple and Wenshu Temple. When people mention Zhenjiang Jinshan Temple, they will think of the mythological story "Flooding Jinshan Mountain". There are many historical stories surrounding Jinshan Temple. It is said that the place where Tang Monk became a monk in "Journey to the West" is the current Jinshan Temple.
Jinshan Temple is on Jinshan Mountain, which is in Jinshan Park. Not far from the park gate, you will see a stone tablet engraved with the three words "Jinquan Bridge" and the four words "Huazhou Lengquan" on the bridge corridor. The buildings towards the Main Hall are even more special. The stacked temples are a rare building. When we looked at Jinshan Temple from afar, we saw the magnificent buildings. What caught our eyes was only the houses but not the mountain. The mountain and the temple are blended into one. The "mountain in the temple" of Jinshan Temple is right in front of our eyes. This is also the most distinctive and beautiful part of Jinshan Temple!
Su Dongpo wrote in his poem "Distant green trees on the river at dawn, misty red clouds in the evening", which just illustrates the beauty of the mountains and waters of Jinshan Temple. The yellow walls, stairs, window grilles, light and shadow, corridors, bells hanging on the roof, etc. in Jinshan Temple, every step and every scene is a combination of beauty and culture, it is worth our careful appreciation of the heritage of nature and historical culture!
