I took a taxi directly from the Zhongshan Expo Center to the Sheraton Zhongshan, my hotel for this trip. It's located by the Shiqi River, north of Shiqi Park—a pretty good location. I could walk to Sunwen West Road Pedestrian Street. The hotel is in good condition. During check-in, I encountered a lively tour group in the lobby. I learned it was a senior group from Hong Kong, gathering here for a night before traveling to other cities. I chose a room with a view of the Ferris wheel. The room size and view were quite good. The gym and dinner were both great. The braised mutton with dried bean curd sheets was especially delicious, and the waiters at the entrance were very professional, meeting the standards of a five-star hotel. After dinner, I got ready to go on a night tour of Zhongshan.
