Caobian Village in Zhongshan is a historical and extremely comfortable ancient village. You can spend a whole day leisurely here. There aren't many tourists, and the village has a parking lot with very affordable fees. Unfortunately, there are no homestays available yet, otherwise, I would love to stay overnight and take a morning walk the next day to fully immerse in the tranquility and beauty of the village in the morning.

The recently popular Caobian Bridge is now closed for safety reasons. However, many people still sneak through the barriers to take photos. Please be sure to pay attention to safety and strictly follow the relevant regulations. Although you can park briefly by the roadside, you need to be very careful as traffic police may suddenly appear to take photos and issue fines. I witnessed a car owner getting fined last time, so I recommend everyone to choose the official parking lot for parking.

Walking on the stone-paved roads of Caobian Village, the old brick walls and buildings full of a sense of age instantly take you back in time. Under the ancient banyan tree, the elderly leisurely chat about their daily lives, and children laugh and play, bringing a strong sense of life. There are also many unique shops in the village.
