Mochou Village by Mochou Lake, sip away your sorrows with Mochou wine.
Mochou time, Mochou people, listen to Mochou tunes and forget your sorrows.
Mochou Village is a place that attracted me as soon as I saw its name. Where in life is there no sorrow? What harm is there in visiting a place that explicitly suggests forgetting your sorrows? The village is near Xianling Tomb. I strongly suspect that this village was built by the military households guarding the tomb. In early spring, there are very few people. However, there are obvious signs of commercialization here, indicating that there should still be a good flow of people during the peak season. The architectural style is reminiscent of the Republic of China period, but there are also some Ming and Qing architectural styles. Many details are worth exploring on your own. The village is quite quiet and comfortable to stroll around. The area behind it, which was built artificially later, has too many traces of artificial construction, which lowers the score. If you are in a bad mood, if you are alone and looking for a place to stroll, sit, and daydream, this is actually a great place. It reflects the mood and stays away from more philistines.
