Zhuhai InterContinental | A vacation vibe that even bad weather can't dampen.

Spent the May Day holiday at Zhuhai InterContinental, and despite the uncooperative weather, the stay was still incredibly rewarding! While it was a bit disappointing not to fully enjoy the infinity pool and the stunning sea-view room, every other experience was absolutely top-notch.

The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was touched by the warm and welcoming atmosphere! During the May Day holiday, the hotel invited a clown to perform, twisting balloons to entertain the kids 🎈—instantly setting the perfect vacation mood. The buffet breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, truly spoiling my taste buds!

The biggest surprise in the room? The toiletries were BYREDO! After a shower, I felt so refreshed and luxurious, the high-end vibe was practically radiating through the screen. Plus, the hotel is right next to Lovers' Road, and even on a cloudy day, a seaside stroll with the ocean breeze was incredibly relaxing. There are also plenty of unique little eateries nearby, and you can't go wrong with any of them!

That said, I do have one complaint about the air conditioning design❌. The vent spans across the entire room, and half the bed is directly in the airflow, which can easily lead to a headache if you're not careful while sleeping. I hope the hotel can improve this! Overall, though, the pros far outweigh the cons. Next time, when the weather is clear, I’ll definitely come back to enjoy the infinity pool and breathtaking sea views again! Save this spot, everyone—it’s a must-visit for your next vacation! 💖
